Hanoi,North Vietnam

Hanoi is the capital of North Vietnam, it was bombarded by the Americans during the Vietnam war. But Hanoi today is a bustling city, full of Americans and European tourists. Many industrial zones are being built as multinational companies are attracted to the cheap labor of Vietnam.
Here are some of my photos taken during my trip last April, this year. Some were photographed around the streets of Old Quarters, and the rest in Ha long Bay. Too bad my travel there was too short! I planned to go back there next year and take a train to Sapa province.

It's the start of May time festival in the Philippines, every town and cities celebrates their own fiestas and festival. A very popular place to go is the City of Antipolo, the home of the miraculous Virgin of Peace and Voyage (Nuestra Senyora de La Paz V Buen Viaje or Our Lady of Antipolo.
The origin of the Blessed Virgin of Antipolo dates back at the height of Mexico and Philippines

Since then the Blessed Virgin crossed the Pacific 8 times, in 1641,1643,1645-46, on board Galleon ship San Luis,1648-49 on the Encarnacion,in 1650, on the San Diego, in 1651-53, on the San Javier,
in 1659-1652, on the San Jose, and in 1746-1748, on the Nuestra Senyora Del Pilar.

In November 26, 1926, The Blessed Virgin of Antipolo was "canonically crowned" by then Archbishop of Manila, Most Reverend Michael J O'Doherty at Luneta, witnessed by hundreds of thousands of Filipinos.
